The Best Chicago Bears Of All Time By Jersey Number: #10-19

#17-Richie Petitbon

Tenure: 1959-1968

I know some of you may have wanted to see Alshon Jeffery in this spot, and if he stays in a Bears uniform throughout his career, he could possibly turn out to be the best #17 in Bears history, but right now that honor has to go to defensive back Richie Petitbon. During his ten years in Chicago, he was one of the premier defensive players in all of football and his 37 interceptions is the second-most in team history. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro selection, including a spot on the First Team in the Bears’ championship season of 1963.
