Well, there weren’t a ton of options at #14 either, so a quarterback who started six games in his career with the Bears actually gets the nod here. Many people thought Brian Griese would get the starting job after signing a five-year contract with Chicago, but Lovie Smith decided to go with Rex Grossman. Griese got some mop-up time throughout that 2006 season when the Bears went to the Super Bowl and took over after Grossman struggled early in 2007. However, a knee injury in Week 10 would lose him his job and he was traded to Tampa Bay after the season.
