The Best Chicago Bears Of All Time By Jersey Number: #10-19

4094

#18-Kyle Orton

Tenure: 2005-2008

This is the toughest choice I’ve had to make thus far on this list. The other option here was Mike Tomczak, which a lot of you may have been expecting here. However, the choice here is Orton, but it was really close. Orton was 21-12 as a starter. Tomczak was 21-10. Orton threw for 5, 319 yards. Tomczak threw for 6, 247, but that was done with three more years, which also makes the 21 wins a little less impressive. Tomczak had 33 touchdown passes to Orton’s 30, but also had 47 interceptions as opposed to Orton’s 27, which is one of the main reasons I went with Orton. Let the yelling begin.

2005:15 games (10-5 as starter), 190-368, 1869 yards, 9 TD, 13 INT

2006: 0 games

2007: 3 games (2-1 as starter), 43-80, 478 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT

2008: 15 games (9-6 as starter), 272-465, 2972 yards, 18 TD, 12 INT

Runner-up: Mike Tomczak
