Chicago White Sox Baseball — Chicago Tribune Reporter Colleen Kane has reported that Chicago White Sox pitcher Nate Jones has been placed on the 15 day disabled list. The move happens as the White Sox get ready to take on the Kansas City Royals this weekend.

Jones had pitched in back to back appearances (most recently in yesterday’s loss) while failing to record an out, so the hip strain might be to blame all along. Jake Petricka has been recalled to take Nate Jones spot in the bullpen.

Petricka was battling for a spot this spring, so hopefully he can take advantage of this opportunity and help settle some White Sox fans nerves.

Don’t Panic

In what has been a crazy start to the 2014 season, there is a long way too go so fans need to avoid panic epidema on calling out the White Sox bullpen. Don Cooper is one of the best and will no doubt help get the team under control as they fight for a AL Central Title.

A Crazy White Sox Win
