**I have never actually read the books so please do not post potential spoilers, this is strictly going off the Game of Thrones show on HBO**

Game of Thrones Power Rankings - Season four of Game of Thrones will be starting Sunday, April 6th, and it cannot come soon enough. Many of us have been dying to see the premiere of season four and the events following the Red Wedding. This season will be 10 episodes, and is based mostly off the book A Storm of Swords, which is the third book in A Song of Ice & Fire series by George R.R. Martin.

According to David Benioff, one of the show’s creators, this season is supposed to blow season three out of the water as there are three episodes that are similar to that of the ‘Red Wedding’ episode. In addition there are 21 new characters getting introduced this season.

Assuming most fans need a refresher from season three, let’s take a look at where these noble families stand from last season, and where their destinies can take them in season four. On the continents of Westerous and Essos, winter is coming, and these noble families are all vying for the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms.
