Think Spice Adams is Fun Now? His Locker Room Performances Are Legendary

-

Spice Adams is quite the personality on social media these days. Not only a former Chicago Bears defensive tackle but also an internet sensation with tons of different characters he’s created since retiring. Most fans have come to love him in that time, finding him so entertaining with his many different skits. His impersonation of Dak Prescott’s famous hip shake dance last year was particularly fun. What people may not realize is this didn’t suddenly become a thing after Adams retired.

He was like that long before. In fact, videos have surfaced of just how crazy he could be in the locker room. A true giant mass of entertainment. Former teammate Earl Bennett told the story of how one Friday a song hit in the locker room and it just happened to be one Adams knew too well. One that he happened to have an entire choreographed dance to.

“Atomic Dog by George Clinton blasted through the speakers in the locker room. Spice, a member of Omega Psi Phi (Que Dog) heard the song, which is an anthem for the fraternity, and started stepping. This was not your ordinary step you would witness in the yard. This was like the movie Stomp the Yard mixed with You Got Served with a “Spice.” I had the pleasure of being the cameraman.”

Spice Adams would’ve been iconic in Club Dub

Stop for a second and think just how insane it would be to have Adams in Matt Nagy’s locker room. He would be must-see TV after every victory in Club Dub. Could anybody outdance him? Given the sort of energy and skill he brings despite that size? It’s hard to see it happening. A talented, talented man.
