The White Sox Have Signed Another Free Agent

-

Finally, the biggest question in the free agent market for the White Sox has been answered. After months of teasing a return to the South Side, baseball TV color analyst Steve Stone announced on Monday that he’s agreed to a deal with the White Sox to stay in the broadcast booth with the team.

Stone, 72, has been the White Sox TV color analyst since 2009.

Stone officially joined the White Sox broadcast team in 2008, doing games that season on the radio alongside Ed Farmer.

One of the best analysts in the game, Stone began his broadcasting career in 1983, remaining with the Cubs through the 2004 season before resigning from his position.
