Sports Gambling Radio Host Obliterates Packers After Loss to Niners

-

Few people were more overjoyed watching the NFC championship game on Sunday than Chicago Bears fans. Mostly because it involved the Green Bay Packers getting crushed 37-20 by the San Francisco 49ers. It marks the third-straight loss in a conference title game by that team dating back to 2014 and another precious year of Aaron Rodgers wasted. It’s no shock Packers fans aren’t exactly feeling the best of late.

Such is the reality of knowing you might be the only franchise in NFL history to enjoy Hall of Fame quarterback play for 30 years and have just two championships to show for it. Bears fans will see it as some poetic justice for having to endure that stretch for so long. It seems other people haven’t been shy about calling Green Bay out on their inability to take advantage of this. Not to mention how insanely lucky they were throughout much of 2019.

Nick Kostos is a sports betting expert for Sports Illustrated and Radio.com Sports. He’s covered the NFL for a long time dating back to 1990. When watching the Packers over the course of the playoffs, he came away decidedly unimpressed and wasn’t afraid to say so. Needless to say, Green Bay faithful weren’t happy.

Bears can take down the Packers in 2020

The thing is the Bears know they have no reason to fear Green Bay. Both of their losses in 2019 were by single digits. If not for some pisspoor performances from their offense, they could’ve and should’ve won both. That is likely where the team will place their focus this offseason. Nobody can say for sure which positions see the most action. It could be tight end or offensive line. Maybe even wide receiver. Kostos? He’s quite insistent that they’d be smart to deal with their quarterback.

Subscribe to the BFR podcast and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

So nobody can say the guy is biased. He delivered harsh but accurate statements to all teams.
