Here’s the thing. Just because you might be a fan of one team or another doesn’t give you an excuse to act like a total bellend. Especially when it comes to making derogatory remarks. Take this Chicago Bears fan from the Thursday night game against the Dallas Cowboys. While his beloved team enjoyed a great night earning a huge win to reach 7-6, his evening did not go quite as well. Apparently it involved the inadvisable decision to call a man in the row in front of him a “faggot.”
Needless to say, the big guy didn’t take kindly to that. Far from it. He turned around and confronted the bald man for the slur. Things escalated further and per usual, the cell phone video cameras came on. That is when poetic justice came about. The big guy kept screaming at him to try calling him that again since it apparently happened right in front of his wife. At this point, things got physical. At least in a one-sided sense.
The bald guy got slapped not once, not twice, but three times in the space of 30 seconds. If this teaches any lesson, it’s if you can’t stop yourself from being a complete homophobic a-hole, be sure to pick your targets of ridicule carefully.
Every Chicago Bears fan should keep this in mind if that reminder was ever necessary in the first place.
