Allen Robinson Isn’t Happy With Cris Collinsworth’s Comments

-

Last night had to be one of the more demoralizing Bears games I think I’ve ever had to watch. Between Patrick Mahomes counting the amount of players taken ahead of him to Harrison Butker doing his best Cody Parkey impression, it was one hell of a night.

Everything that was being said about the Bears throughout the game was pretty fair and accurate.

That is up until Cris Collinsworth went ahead and said this.

“If Robinson were on the Chiefs, he’d be their No. 3 option in the passing game along the lines of Sammy Watkins and rookie Mecole Hardman”

When I heard this I couldn’t believe it at first. I had to rewind the television and listen to it back about 10x before I could fully comprehend the amount of disrespect Collinsworth just showed Allen Robinson on national TV. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who was outraged with this absurd analysis.

Matt is 100% correct and you know who agreed with him?

Allen Robinson.

Here is what he tweeted this morning.

If this tweet didn’t confirm how Robinsion felt towards Collinsworth’s comments, his recent likes will.

Case closed:

First, we have the tweet I had above from Matt Harmon that he liked. And then to top it off we have the Michael Thomas tweet that also seemed to resonate with him.

“Chip on my shoulder for people that hated on us.”

From the Pro Bowl snub last week to the Cris Collinsworth comments last night, Allen Robinson is going to have plenty of bulletin board material to help fuel him going into the off-season.
