After destroy Cleveland’s pitching staff last week White Sox rookie Eloy Jiménez had a quiet series this past weekend against the Angels. But he didn’t take long to break out of his mini-slump, greeting the Royals to Chicago with an opposite-field grand slam in the first inning of Tuesday night’s game.
That was Eloy’s first career grand slam and his 25th home run of the season.
Hard not to root for this guy.
