The Cubs are getting right-handed reliever Brandon Kintzler back in their bullpen after missing 10 days with an oblique issue. Kintzler has only pitched three times in September, allowing at least one run in each outing.

Despite his road struggles, Kintzler has been lights out pitching at Wrigley Field, posting a 0.89 ERA in 30.1 innings this year.

After losing their third straight game on Thursday, the Cubs are now on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, trailing the Brewers by one game for the second Wild Card spot. The Cubs trail the Cardinals by four games in the division.

Right-hander Alec Mills is starting today, filling in for Cole Hamels who has been dealing with shoulder fatigue. Anthony Rizzo is back in the lineup after his shocking return Thursday.

Craig Kimbrel also returned from an injury on Thursday.
