2020 White Sox Schedule Features The Earliest Home Opener Ever

For the 50th year in a row, OK it’s only the third year in a row, the White Sox will start the 2020 season playing the Royals. It’s also the earliest home opener in franchise history, as all 30 MLB teams will open the year playing on March 26.

The White Sox will play the NL West in interleague play, which means a trip to San Diego to play against Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr. and the rest of the Padres from May 11-13.

The crosstown series against the Cubs is once again split in two, two-game sets. The first will be on July 7-8 on the South Side and then the White Sox will head north on July 20-21.

The 2020 schedule also includes the Aug. 13, game in Iowa next to the site of the movie “Field of Dreams” against the Yankees.
