Carlos González added some insurance late in Sunday night’s game against the Cardinals, hitting his first home run with the Cubs. The outfielder lifted an outside pitch to the opposite field for a solo dinger in the eighth. This gave the Cubs a 5-1 lead over the Cardinals.

And for the second time this season, the Cubs swept the Cardinals at Wrigley Field!
