Things keep getting worse for the White Sox. After placing left-hander Carlos Rodon on the 10-day injured list with an arm issue after his last start, the team feared he’d need surgery.

The latest update signals the worst case scenario for Rodon and the White Sox. Tommy John surgery seems like a strong possibility for the White Sox lefty.

Rodon was 3-2, with a 5.19 ERA in 34.2 innings through seven starts this season. Rodon has suffered several injuries since his MLB debut in 2015. In 2017-18, he only made 30 starts. He’s thrown 529 innings in 93 total appearances with the White Sox.
