The Las Vegas Aviators had their 2019 home opener on Tuesday night and they beat Sacramento 10-2. It was the first game at the new Las Vegas Ballpark for the Triple-A team, so you know it was a packed house, as 11,000 fans attended the home opener.
So, of course home plate umpire Tom Woodring had to be a jackass.
The Aviators have Finn The Bat Dog, who gets the bats and brings them back to the dugout. Well, after one at-bat, Woodring apparently got pissed off that Finn was taking too long and went to grab the bat and flung it back near the dugout.
Right before Finn got to the bat.
