Things Are Looking Worse for This 2019 Chicago Bears Opponent

-

The Chicago Bears opponent list for 2019 looks considerably stronger than last year. One of the “perks” of being a winning team. In truth this is just how the schedule breaks. The AFC West and NFC East divisions were next in line for them and it just so happens both of those divisions are typically good.

One of the most anticipated matchups of the year for Chicago will take place on December 22nd when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. That means they’ll have to tangle with reigning league MVP Patrick Mahomes, fresh off throwing 50 touchdowns last season. A tall order even for a great defense like the Bears.

However, there is a growing possibility that Mahomes may have to spend extended time this season without his favorite weapon. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for child abuse when it was revealed his 3-year old son had a broken arm.

Matters have since gotten much worse for him.

Chicago Bears opponent Tyreek Hill lost custody of his son

According to KCTV5 in the Kansas City area, Hill has now lost custody of his son to child services for the time being as the investigation into the abuse allegations continue. One would think this isn’t a great sign regarding the evidence of his guilt.

“We have new information in the Tyreek Hill investigation concerning allegations of child abuse. KCTV5 News has confirmed with multiple sources that Hill temporarily lost custody of his child, pending further court action.

KCTV5 was the only station at the Johnson County Courthouse when Hill was at court.”

Don’t forget this isn’t the first time Hill has been in trouble for abuse problems. Back in 2014, he was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, who was pregnant the time. Here’s a short list of what he allegedly did.

  • Threw her around like a ragdoll
  • Punched her in the face
  • Sat on her
  • Repeatedly punched her in the stomach
  • Choked her

He denied most of those things happened but actually plead guilty to strangulation. He ended up getting off with probation and multiple therapy programs. So is it really a stretch to think a man like that is capable of breaking the arm of a child?

One thing is for sure. If he’s officially charged with this crime in the near future? His career in Kansas City may be over and perhaps his NFL career as whole.
