Chargers Twitter Delivered Savage Troll Job of Green Bay Packers

-

The Los Angeles Chargers Twitter account may be one of the best in the NFL. It’s not only active and alert to any and all things, but it’s also incredibly funny. When the league released the schedules for every team in 2019, the account delivered a hilarious video comprised entirely of stock footage. Yet they saved their best for a subtle barb at the Green Bay Packers.

The AFC West division will play the NFC North this year. That means Los Angeles will meet not only the Packers, but also the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Minnesota Vikings. In order to commemorate this and the rest of their schedule, the Chargers decided to put out a thread.

One that compares every single team they’ll play with a specific flavor of Pop Tarts. Here is what they chose for the Bears, honoring the orange uniforms they brought back last season.

There were other creative ones such as the Kansas City Chiefs getting Red Velvet or the Oakland Raiders getting Cookies and Cream. Yet easily their best and funniest was saved for Green Bay.

Subscribe to the BFR podcast and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

One would figure they’d have gone for an easy one like Banana split or something. Instead they did something so much better with that photo. The sheer simplicity is what makes it word. The bland coloring, the choice of cheese on a paper plate? Magnificent.

The Chargers can add to the fun by beating Green Bay later this year when the two teams play. One might call that adding injury to insult. Something Bears fans are always on board with when it comes to the Packers.
