ESPN’s Jeff Passan is also reporting the deal is close between Eloy Jimenez and the White Sox.

Passan is reporting the deal is worth $40 million guaranteed over six years and then two club options.

That’s not bad for either side and is actually pretty cheap if Eloy lives up to the hype compared to what he’d be making at the end of his arbitration years.
Total deal can be worth up to $77 million over eight years.
