Well, here’s an article I wasn’t expecting to write this year.
Bleacher Report recently posted each team’s World Series odds and the results were…surprising to say the least.

This has the White Sox with the exact same odds to win is all as the Reds, Angels, Athletics, and Rays. Furthermore, these odds have the White Sox tied for the 5th best odds out of all the American League teams.
One has to imagine that these odds are implying that they land a certain third baseman/short stop, but even with an addition like that, these are incredibly generous odds.
Maybe people are starting to realize that the Sox can surprise this year? I mean, they’re not winning the World Series just year. They just aren’t. But they are slowly starting to climb up the ladder into “contender” territory. If all goes well, next year we should see them near the top of these lists.
