Michael Kopech may not be pitching this year, but he’s still having no trouble giving us memorable quotes this spring. His most recent one that stuck out? Comparing Eloy Jimenez to a baseball legend.

Eloy will have to spend his time destroying baseballs in Triple-A Charlotte until roughly April 15th before he forces his way onto the scene in Chicago. But once his long anticipated arrival becomes a reality, Chicago will be able to see if Kopech’s comparison comes true.
Meanwhile, Eloy later heard about the quote and quickly came up of a comparison for Kopech of his own.
