Today’s the two-year anniversary of the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series over the Indians in a classic seven-game battle. My favorite memory will always be Willson Contreras talking about how much winning the World Series meant to him, as he spent pretty much all his adult life in the Cubs organization.
Here’s the clip.

Anyway, Willson’s always been a great dude. On the field, off the field, it doesn’t matter, Willson Contreras is awesome. And that brings us to his best friend Daniel Rodriguez.
As the Cubs were making their run at a World Series championship back in 2016, Contreras met Daniel at Chicago’s Advocate Children’s Hospital and a new friendship was born.
Here’s your feel good story of the day.
Two years ago today the @Cubs won the #WorldSeries.@WContreras40 had a second life-changing event around that same time when he met a boy named Daniel Rodriguez.
Here's their incredible story. 🙌🏼 pic.twitter.com/moOkuxNv1w

You can’t find this kind of friendship everywhere. I’m blessed to call Daniel my BEST Friend 🙌 https://t.co/UT9P1Egdt5

If you didn’t feel anything watching that, then you’re just not human.
