I’ll start with, I have no problem if Joe Maddon doesn’t want to give his thoughts on the Addison Russell domestic violence investigation. That’s fine, whatever. However, when Maddon says that he wants all the information first before giving his comments, then I have a big problem with his hypocritical thought process.

After Russell was placed on administrative leave following a post by his ex-wife, Melisa, who described the abuse during their marriage, Maddon met with the media. Here’s his bullshit answer to a question.

Again, that’s a fair concept. Get the info first and then discuss.

However, here’s why it’s complete bullshit by Maddon.

Before that question, Maddon was directly asked if he had read Melisa’s post, which explained the physical, emotional and verbal abuse by Russell.

Maddon first says no, he hasn’t read it and is then immediately asked if he should. Maddon responds dismissively, “Should I?”

If Maddon really wants all the information before commenting, then how do you not read her words and secondly why then question if he should or not.

So, again, it’s fine if Joe doesn’t want to say anything, but don’t say you want the info when the biggest piece of information is available and you have no interest in reading it.
