Kyle Schwarber is no stranger to smashing things like baseballs, car windshields and stuff at Wrigley Field. Last year he knocked out a light on the Budweiser sign above the right-field video board and on Tuesday he broke some glass in a patio area at Wrigley Field.
During Tuesday’s batting practice session, Schwarber hit a shot to the Budweiser patio and caused some damage.

Now if only he could start doing that more consistently during games.
After hitting 16 home runs through the month of June, Schwarber has only hit four home runs since and two in his last 24 games. At 20 home runs after 119 games this year, Schwarber is on pace to hit 27 homers in 2018, which would be three shy of his total from 2017.
Still, Schwarber’s had a solid season, posting a .360 OBP and leads the Cubs with 62 walks. Just gotta get going here along with some other players who have struggled since the All-Star break.
