The Chicago Cubs opened their 2016 World Series season on the road against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and if you like to make wild correlations, then you’ll love to know that the Cubs will start the 2019 season against another American League west opponent.

The Cubs’ interleague schedule for the 2019 season will feature games against AL west foes and it begins right away. That’s right, according to Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune, the Cubs will begin 2019 on the road against the Texas Rangers.

Oh baby, that means the DH will be in play. Love it.

The Cubs also get to host Mike Trout and the Angles at Wrigley Field and make a trip to Minute Made Park in May for a series against Houston. That’ll be fun as hell.
