This started off as a frustrating game for the Chicago Cubs, who fell behind 3-0 to the Pittsburgh Pirates, but thanks to Javier Baez and a few late-inning rallies the Cubs pulled away Wednesday night. Ian Happ’s pinch-hit, two-run home run in the seventh inning broke the game wide open.
The Cubs were already up 9-4, having scored four times in the sixth and one run in the seventh before Happ hit his second dinger of the season.
