The Milwaukee Brewers blew a 4-3 lead in the eighth inning on a throwing error and then they lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates on a two-out, two-run walk-off home run in the ninth. With the loss, the magic number to clinch the division went down to eight for the Chicago Cubs, who stayed 3.5 games ahead of the Brewers.

The Cubs begin a four-game series in Milwaukee on Thursday, but before they make the trip to Wisconsin they can drink to Adam Frazier’s walk-off homer.

Raise that damn jolly roger, Pirates! The Cubs could clinch the division with a sweep of the Brewers.

Jake Arrieta, John Lackey, Kyle Hendricks and Jose Quintana will be the starting pitchers for the Cubs against the Brewers.
