Mitchell Trubisky’s Twitter History Is Pretty Outrageous

-

The Chicago Bears have a new quarterback. It’s a moment of mixed feelings for fans. While they’re thrilled the team finally went ahead and took the plunge, they’re also furious that GM Ryan Pace gave up two thirds and a fourth round pick in order to get him. Odds are it will take time for those feelings to get sorted out. In the meantime they can sit back and enjoy some early entertainment courtesy of the young man from North Carolina. It turns out the Mitchell Trubisky Twitter history has a few demons.

Way back in 2011, when he was a teenager mind you, Trubisky seemed to have no problem expressing himself in rather crude ways. There were plenty of interesting ones, but no doubt this dandy has to take the cake.

Now in fairness he’s probably not alone in that assessment. Still, considering he’s now officially the #2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft this isn’t something he’d probably want to rehash. Then again Jim McMahon notoriously showed up to his first press conference in 1982 holding a beer. Maybe this is exactly the sort of guy Chicago needs.

Subscribe to the BFR Youtube channel and ride shotgun with Dave and Ficky as they break down Bears football like nobody else.

If nothing else the guy either has a hidden raucous personality we don’t know about or his account was hacked. It’s easy to envision the latter in this instance. Regardless it will be fun to watch his story unfold in the weeks, months and years to come. After all, he’s the first top three quarterbacks the Bears have drafted in the Super Bowl era. Not even McMahon can say that.
