Blackhawks Sign Anthony Louis To Entry Level Contract

-

In the wake of the college hockey season, the Chicago Blackhawks have gotten busy signing their 2013 draft picks. The latest player to sign a two-year entry-level deal is Anthony Louis of Miami (Ohio) University, according to Scott Powers’ sources.

Like yesterday’s signing of John Hayden, Louis declined signing after his junior season. His decision led to the best season of his collegiate career. Louis amassed career highs in goals (14) and assists (25).

The 5’8″ 160lb center has Chicago ties as well. He grew up in Winfield, Il and played for the Chicago Mission and Team Illinois.

It hasn’t been announced if he will join the team like Hayden yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
