REPORT: Chicago Bears Cornerback Deiondre Hall Arrested In Iowa

-

The 2017 season is not getting off to the most ideal start for Chicago Bears corner Deiondre Hall. Word is the second-year man and former fourth round pick was arrested by police in Cedar Falls, Iowa following a confrontation with local police. Details remain somewhat unclear at the moment but both Hall and Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant were both hauled away in cuffs.

KWWL News had the initial story.

“According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, Deiondre Hall and Makinton Dorleant were arrested Saturday night in Cedar Falls.

Hall was cited for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and interference.

Makinton Dorleant was cited for interference.”

The story may not have ended there though. Word is things may have gotten pretty heated that resulted in officers having to use force in order to take control of the situation.

“According to witnesses, Cedar Falls police and Black Hawk County sheriff’s deputies were called to College Hill late Saturday night.

They say they saw kids arguing with officers, and they also report seeing and hearing one person being tased.”

It was later indicated by those same witnesses that they believe Hall was the one tased. No matter how one spins it, this is not a good look for Hall in any light. He was already feeling the pressure with the addition of several new cornerbacks to the roster this offseason. No doubt Bears management and the coaching staff won’t be happy that he was caught up in something so irresponsible. One can only hope it’s not as bad as it sounds. Otherwise he could be in big trouble.
