It’s moments like these when you know why they call Patrick Kane “Showtime.” He absolutely undressed Sabres’ goaltender Robin Lehner. Even funnier is the defense played by Josh Gorges on the play, he was as useful as a pylon.
The highlight reel goal put Kane at at least 20 for the tenth straight season. He is the only American to accomplish this in his first 10 seasons. What a day for Hockey Day in America.
