I don’t condone violence unless it’s grown people wearing mascot costumes of course. The Minnesota Wild mascot, Nordy, took a clubbing to Tommy Hawk last night for the old pinata skit. Tommy was nice enough to show up for Nordy’s 10th birthday and this was the way he was treated. I blame bad parent….management on this one. Haha.
The Wild are right behind the Blackhawks in the Western Conference but I don’t think that beating up their mascot is the way to get ahead. If anything, this will be bulletin board material for the Blackhawks going forward.
