Cubs Convention is usually a three-day time period where Cubs fans congregate to meet and discuss their hopes and dreams for the upcoming season. Last year I remember talking to a guy from Peoria who told me, “I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the team that won it all.” I kind of smiled and laughed but really didn’t take him too serious.
As we all know, the random dude from Peoria was right.
They did win it all.
So instead of talking about our hopes and dreams at the 2017 convention, Cubs fans from across the world got together to relive one of the best seasons in Chicago Cubs history.
