Phew.

After about a week of uncertainty, Jeremiah Tilmon of East St. Louis, one of the best recruits in Illinois basketball history, signed his letter of intent on Wednesday. He made it official Thursday in a ceremony at his high school that he signed on the final day of the early signing period, putting to rest any doubts about his commitment, which was made a few months ago.

This is a huge get for coach John Groce and his staff. Tilmon, a 6-foot-10 center, is the No. 25 recruit in the Class of 2017, according to Rivals.com, and No. 37 by ESPN.

Here are some Tilmon highlights.

Enjoy, Illini fans!
