If we’re going strictly by the numbers, baseball’s two best teams face off tonight at the Friendly Confines when the Chicago Cubs host the Washington Nationals.

Both teams have started this 2016 season on a tear. The Cubs have won 20 of their first 26 while the Nationals aren’t far behind after winning 19 of their first 27. Both have solid pitching staffs, strong lineups, great coaching and some of the game’s best young players. Honestly, I could write paragraph after paragraph previewing tonight’s action and what it means for both clubs, but there’s plenty of storylines that I’m sure will play out over the next four days. Tonight, let’s just sit back and watch the two best teams in baseball get after it.

Here’s your starting lineups for tonight’s series opener.
