Here’s Your Starting Lineups For Today’s White Sox Home Opener

108

For the first time since their World Series-winning season in 2005, the Chicago White Sox are 3-1 and will look to improve upon that mark as they host the Cleveland Indians in their 2016 home opener.

John Danks takes the hill for the Sox, hoping to fare a little better than he has in the past against the Tribe. In 26 career meetings versus Cleveland, the left-hander has a 5-14 record with a 5.29 ERA. On the mound for the Indians is hard-throwing righty Danny Salazar, who was scheduled to pitch yesterday against the Red Sox before bad weather postponed that series finale at Progressive Field. Salazar had a breakout season a year ago with 14 wins and a 3.45 ERA in 185 innings, easily the best year of his three-year career.

Here are the things you need to know about today’s home opener. Let’s hope the weather holds up.
