The Chicago White Sox enjoyed their last day off of the month yesterday and are set to get back to work tonight as they visit the Minnesota Twins for the second of a three-game set at Target Field. The Sox, who currently sit tied atop the AL Central with the defending World Series champion Kansas City Royals, send Carlos Rodon to the mound tonight to take on the Twins’ Phil Hughes in a battle of 0-1 hurlers.

Rodon went seven innings last week against the A’s and gave up only two runs while Hughes was actually up on the undefeated Orioles before his bullpen allowed the inherited runners to score. That’s just the way things have been going for the Twins this year. The White Sox hope to extend Minnesota’s losing streak to eight games.

Here’s what you need to know about tonight’s matchup.
