New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist had a rough night.

During the second period in last night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Lundqvist seemingly expected a referee to stop play after a collision with his own teammate knocked him to the ground. The stoppage never came….well, at least not until the Vezina Trophy winner threw the net into the boards.

The Rangers were given a delay of game penalty and Lundqvist proceeded to give up three goals over the next two minutes and did not play the third period. The Rangers lost the game 4-1.

Soon after the incident, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ official Twitter account had a little fun at Lundqvist’s expense.
