In addition to the running back mess this season, Week 4 gives fantasy football owners the first wave of team byes. It’s not a small wave either as six teams are on bye including the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
As if the season wasn’t going screwy enough, owners will be scrambling to set lineups this week. The waiver wire might be their only hope so here’s the top five guys to go after.
*Note: I’m taking into account guys like Kirk Cousins, Donald Brown, Khiry Robinson, Knile Davis, Brian Quick, James Jones and Andrew Hawkins are not available. If they are, then make sure to put them atop this list. Also, you’ll want to prioritize adding players based on what you need…

5.) Teddy Bridgewater – Bridgewater was cast into action last week after Minnesota Vikings starter Matt Cassel broke his foot. Cassel was not playing particularly well so this could be a blessing in disguise as the rookie QB gets his shot in the NFL.
While he’ll have growing pains and doesn’t have the luxury of Adrian Peterson, Bridgewater has athleticism which could make him an exciting player at the pro level. In Week 4 he faces the Atlanta Falcons defense, who could give up some points/yards on the road. Even better, if this game gets out of hand, TB could rack up in garbage time. He’s worth an add and if you’re desperate at QB this week or as a stash. You could do a lot worse with bye week replacement options…
