The Chicago Sky are just one win away from the WNBA Finals after defeating the Indiana Fever in double overtime 86-84 on Monday afternoon. Center Sylvia Fowles (27 points and 7 rebounds) led the way for the Sky as they played in front of a wild home crowd. Sky guards Courtney Vandersloot (18) and Allie Quigley (16) helped propel the team to the victory as well.
The Sky hung close for most of the contest and were able to force the initial overtime with a Tamera Young put-back layup with 1.0 seconds left. Shavonte Zellous was the top contributor for the Fever with 20 points in the contest.
The two teams will square off in a winner-take-all Game 3 Wednesday night in Indianapolis. The game will be aired at 6:00 PM CT on NBA TV.
