White Sox Manager Robin Ventura Ejected, Throws Temper Tantrum

Chicago White Sox, Robin Ventura

Chicago White Sox Manager, Robin Ventura, lost his cool on Wednesday afternoon. Jose Abreu made a great throw home, and Tyler Flowers applied the tag to Gregor Blanco to get the out. So what’s the problem exactly? The call was overturned. Flowers was “blocking the plate”.

With Robin Ventura ejected, Ronald Belisario came in and blew the game wide open in the Giants’ favor. Ventura REALLY should have been mad at himself for repeatedly using Ronald Belisario out of the bullpen. He used Belisario the same amount of appearances as Jake Petricka, despite a 3.94 ERA differential. Are you serious bro?

This pic shows the differences a day makes. Umpiring crews change position, but considering this was reviewed, I’m not sure it really mattered too much.
