Former Purdue Star to Sign With the Chicago Bulls

Chicago Bulls, E'Twaun Moore

First reported by Mary Stevens of Sports Talk Florida, 2011 2nd round pick and former Boilermaker standout E’Twaun Moore is expected to sign with the Chicago Bulls within the next few days. Moore played with Orlando as a backup SG last season.

Moore is a local product, playing High School basketball at East Chicago. Moore’s team at EC Central won the 2007 state title, beating Eric Gordon’s team in doing so.

Moore’s past two seasons were spent in Orlando, where he averaged 20 minutes of playing time and 7 PPG while backing up Arron Afflalo and Jameer Nelson.

At Purdue, he scored the third most points in school history, and is only one of two players not only to earn four all-Big Ten honors, but also to have . He also shares or hold the school records for games played, most 3-point field goals, games started, minutes played and wins.
