Matt Forte has landed on the ESPN Top 100 Offensive Players, and he has improved from last year.

Forte comes in at 29th overall, in the top offensive players. Forte, who was ranked 48th the year before, had one of his best season in 2013. Recording 1,339 yards, and nine touchdowns in the first year with Marc Trestman at the helm.

Forte was third in the NFL last season in total yards from scrimmage (1,933). He had 71.5 percent of his team’s rushes, highest in the league.

Forte is the fourth Bear to make the offensive list, the others being Jay Cutler (93), Martellus Bennett (82) and Alshon Jeffery (31).  Forte hopes to improve again in 2014 in the second year of Trestmans offense, and possibly hit the 2,000 combined yards mark (1,933 in 2013).

Bears fans await for the ranking of one more Chicago Bear in the Top 100 Offensive Players. That player should be Brandon Marshall.
