Former Bear Desmond Clark to be inducted to the Wake Forest Hall of Fame

Former Chicago Bears tight end Dez Clark is set to join Wake Forest University’s Hall of Fame this fall. Clark, a Pro Bowl Alternate in 2005, is the 2nd All-Time leading amongst tight ends in Chicago Bear history.

Clark had a tremendous career at Wake Forest as a wide receiver before being selected in the 6th round by the Denver Broncos. He finished his career as the ACC’s all time leading receiver with 216 receptions, which is good enough for 2nd all time in school history. Dez racked up 2, 834 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns during his time at Wake Forest which ranks him 2nd and 4th currently in school history.
