Carlos Rodon made his much anticipated debut for the Charlotte Knights. There hasn’t been this much hype around a pitcher since Chris Sale in 2010, so this is an exciting time for Chicago White Sox fans.

So how did the big lefty do in his first Triple-A start?

  • IP: 3
  • Pitches: 55
  • Hits Allowed: 1
  • Earned Runs: 1
  • Walks: 3
  • Strikeouts: 3

While Carlos Rodon pitched good in his first start at the next level, it wasn’t about how he did. It’s a sign that he’s close to the Big Leagues, whether this year or next.

More importantly, it gives Chicago fans some hope for the future because this year has been tough…
