Today was the last day for the Chicago Bears at the campus of Olivet Nazarene University and that means following a tradition that started when Lovie Smith was in control of the team.
“After becoming head coach in 2004, Lovie Smith has had his coaches use bicycles instead of golf carts to get around the campus of Olivet Nazarene University during camp. Following the last practice, the coaches donate the bikes to deserving area children.”
Even though Lovie is gone the tradition is carried on today as seen by this tweet;
After every camp Bears coaches and players give away the bikes they ride around campus. pic.twitter.com/bnzuPEo5Kt

With all the negatives we hear about professional athletes it is nice to see some positive stuff as well.
