16 Inch Softball Rankings are back, as Sports Mockery brings you first installment of the Top 20 for 2013. As usual for the sport of 16 inch softball there are some new faces on a few of the bigger teams as well a few new teams all together which fans should keep their eye on.
The first major tournament of the year is in the books and it saw OBI take down defending tournament and National Champion Windy City in the final. The victory for OBI is their first ever championship at the Tournament of Champions as they have created quite a stir so far this summer.
The usual suspects are right there at the top as the before mentioned Windy City and Flashback teams are deadlocked at number 2, while RoadRunners and Jynx round out the top five. It will no doubt be another interesting season as there are plenty of talented rosters to contend with.
For those that follow the game, softball is a game of attrition and injuries will happen. It is often the teams with not only the most talented rosters, but the deepest that find themselves playing on Sundays.

This weekend plays host to one of the most prestigious tournaments of the summer, 11th Annual 16″ North Vs South Challenge which is held at Januara Park in Berwyn, IL. This tournament typically helps carve out some future teams to be reckoned with, all the while establishing who is truly the best of the best and is held in a very high regard come selection day for the National Championship which culminates at the end of the summer.
With that said lets take a look at where we stand up until this point……next slide shows the rankings.
